'Roman Disc' necklace, my contemporary handmade glass disc necklace, perfect for layering. The glass disc is carefully wound in the torch flame and burnished with light-catching 24k gold leaf before being kiln annealed for durability, then strung on fine gold fill chain.
Disc pendant diameter is approximately 2cm, though as it's handmade please allow for some variation. Available in varying lengths for you to mix, match and layer in a harmonious range of transparent and opaque colours. Matching disc earrings are available in all colour options. Photographs show a few of the colour options available, this listing is for transparent blush pink glass with gold leaf.
This gold fill chain is 18 inch long (excluding drop) and please note link size is now 2.5x 3.3 mm as opposed to original finer version.
Goldfill chain is composed of a solid layer of gold (typically constituting at least 5% of the item's total weight) mechanically bonded to a base of either sterling silver or jewellers brass. It is much higher quality than gold plate and should remain tarnish resistant with normal wear.
